The Wavelengths
Light is not light.
Not all light does the same thing. The wavelength determines where in the body the light reaches and what it does when it gets there. CUVLÈ instruments are built around three distinct spectrums, each targeting a different layer of the body, each backed by decades of independent research.
Photobiomodulation is non-invasive, painless and clinically documented as safe for home use. Results build consistently with regular use most users report visible improvements within four to twelve weeks.
Red Light
630 — 660nm
This is where skin transformation happens.
630nm targets the skin's surface — ideal for improving tone, reducing redness and supporting the skin's natural renewal process. It is particularly effective for uneven skin texture and early signs of aging.
660nm goes slightly deeper, directly stimulating the fibroblasts — the cells your skin relies on to produce collagen and elastin. Clinical studies confirm up to a 31% increase in collagen production and an 18% reduction in the enzymes that break it down. Fewer fine lines. Firmer skin. A complexion that looks genuinely healthier.
If skin is your primary focus, this is your most important spectrum.
Near-Infrared Light
810 — 850nm
Near-infrared light is invisible to the eye but precise in its reach. Penetrating up to 30mm beneath the skin's surface, it works deeper than red light — calming inflammation, improving circulation and accelerating the body's natural recovery.
For the skin, this means reduced puffiness, improved elasticity and support for the deeper dermal layers that red light alone cannot reach. For the body, it means faster recovery, less soreness and better circulation.
Think of it as the layer beneath the surface — working quietly, delivering results.
Deep Infrared Light
960 — 1060nm
Deep infrared light reaches into muscle tissue and joints — supporting cellular energy production at a systemic level. For the skin, it contributes to long-term dermal density and structural integrity. For the body, clinical research at 1060nm has documented one of the largest effect sizes ever recorded in non-invasive light therapy.
This is not surface treatment. This is cellular performance.
Why It Matters
CUVLÈ instruments deliver seven wavelengths across three distinct spectrums — because the body responds to more than one frequency of light.
